Video highlighting Colombian award winner

We were sent some excellent video from a local camera crew in Colombia to illustrate that country’s winner of the 2022 World Veterinary Association’s Global Animal Welfare Awards 2022, supported by our client Ceva Animal Health.

The project was a perfect example of how to use teamwork to bring a project to the mark despite the heavy restrictions that were created by the Covid-19 pandemic. We commissioned the video crew to follow Dr. Juan C. Carrascal, who was declared that Latin American winner of the Awards in 2022.

“The crew really went the extra mile during their filming,” said Good Call Media co-founder, Nik Wood, who hosted the Awards live on stage in Abu Dhabi, UAE. “We were then able to edit the material in the UK prior to the Awards and the result was a dynamic and colourful video report highlighting the amazing work of Dr. Carrascal.”

Dr Carrascal is highly recognised and respected both in Colombia and in Latin America for his work on the subject of animal health and welfare. As Animal Welfare and One Health leader and with his continuous work for several years and career he has offered science-based and academic support to develop the creation of the animal welfare framework in the city of Montería, Colombia.

He has also brought significant impact changes in the Department of Córdoba population with projects with the community giving a better quality of life both, to people, animals and the environment and in the region from the One Health and One Welfare framework.

The Global Animal Welfare Awards 2022 aimed to recognise people and institutions for their dedication and outstanding work going ‘above and beyond’ to protect and safeguard the welfare of animals and promoting the animal welfare concept and approach in their daily life.

The official award ceremony was held during the 37th World Veterinary Association Congress in Abu Dhabi, UAE to present the awards to 6 veterinarians, a veterinary student, a veterinary nurse and the University of Veterinary Medicine. During the ceremony, short videos were presented highlighting the work of each of the award recipients in their respective fields under a single common goal – improving the welfare of animals.

The WVA and Ceva Santé Animale are thrilled to continue their collaborations to underline and recognise the work done by outstanding people and institutions to advance animal welfare.

Our Expertise in Construction and Building is Growing

Our growing profile in the construction and building sector has seen us partner with one of the UK’s fastest growing construction companies in a major recruitment project tied in with the release of their dynamic new microsite promoting their expansion.

Women in construction and housebuilding feature prominently in the video campaign

Yorkshire-based Stonebridge Homes is planning to open new offices in the UK and needs to attract high quality employees in every aspect of home building and construction so they came to Good Call Media for

Major expansion planned by Stonebridge

support with the expansion programme.

We undertook a detailed planning process with the company and prepared existing team members for a series of case study interviews highlighting their individual roles and the profile of the teams they work with as well as the unique characteristics of working with Stonebridge. We also featured

aspects of the social scene at the company and filmed on several of their prestigious sites in Harrogate and Menston in Yorkshire. We used our camera drone to support the filming and edited a whole series of

video ‘thumbnails’ highlighting the different roles that will need to be filled in the future. These all feature on the special careers microsite that has been built by Stonebridge, attached to their main website.

The videos also have a strong emphasis on women who work in building and construction and the videos highlight interviews with women who help to lead the way with Stonebridge’s growing business.

Research has shown that video is a potent tool for companies who are looking to attract new employees as potential recruits view video content for far longer than casual visitors to websites. Video is also a key tool in highlighting the culture and values of organisations and the Stonebridge project featured the company’s strong values throughout.

Following on from the success of the initial video project, Stonebridge has appointed Good Call Media for a new series of filming projects to develop the microsite and also to create content that will show an overview of the Stonebridge ethos.

Good Call Media co-owner, Fiona Molloy, who is Good Call Media’s lead on the project said: “Our connections with the vibrant construction industry in the Yorkshire region stems from our involvement with the Yorkshire Property Awards over several years. Stonebridge saw our work in this area and it has been great to partner with a company that has such high standards, strong values and a fantastic story to tell about plans for expansion in the future.”

Watch out for the new Stonebridge video content coming soon!
