CHRIS-WORKING

Chris at work at our event.

Now he can work for you and so, after he cooked up an amazing feast for an event we organised, we thought it would be great to say thanks in our own special way…through the medium of video.

We recorded a video (click here to see it) testimonial highlighting the excellent work that he had done and it was posted on social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, Linked In etc.

The results were amazing according to Chris with the number of hits rapidly adding up in a short space of time. “I can’t believe we have had over 2,000 hits on the video in just two days,” he said. Although we were happy, we weren’t too surprised. As we constantly point out to our clients and friends, embedding video or using links to You Tube are guaranteed to increase your traffic, not only on your dedicated website but also through the numerous social media channels at your fingertips.

Social Media Video for Cat Care Awards

When our client Ceva Santé Animale scooped a series of ‘gongs’ at the recent International Cat Care 2016 Awards, we were there with our cameras and able to broadcast the success on social media within minutes.

Ceva UK’s companion animal team, led by the newly appointed Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, Cüneyt Seçkin, was delighted to be invited once again to the annual International Cat Care Awards, hosted at the impressive Kensington Roof Gardens in central London.

The team was thrilled to learn that Ceva was to be awarded, not one, but TWO AWARDS at the event.

Amodip®, the first veterinary licensed amlodipine for cats, was awarded the Easy To Give award which values medicines that make life a little easier for owners to administer to their cats. They had barely returned to their seats, when they were invited on stage once again to collect an award for The Cat Friendly category, awarded to Feliway Friends®. The Cat Friendly Award recognises products which have made a real difference to cat well being and welfare.

Good Call Media helps to operate Ceva TV for Ceva and, using our skills from our days with the BBC, we are able to produce top quality video content as and when events happen so our cameras were at the Awards, held against the beautiful backdrop of the Kensington Roof Gardens in the centre of London in the UK. The video footage was used on Twitter, Facebook, Linked In and Galaxy, which is Ceva’s own internal intranet site that features Ceva TV as a key component in the communication mix.

Powerful Communication

In any company good communication at every level and in every part of the business is imperative; especially when operating across the globe.

XP squareSuccessful power convertor company XP power really do understand that and that’s why their Chief Executive Duncan Penny asked Good Call Media to produce two engaging internal news bulletins for the whole the organisation. We have been working with the company for some time now and it is great to get to know so many of the employees and hear about the future plans for the growing business.

Kansas City Conference

Good Call Media has been based in Kansas City, Missouri in the U.S. for its latest assignment for world wide animal health company, Ceva, one of our key clients.

Ceva squareOur cameras were on hand to capture the main elements of the convention staged by Ceva’s North America business, which highlighted the continued growth of the company in the United States and Canada.

Footage from the filming will be used on Ceva’s own internal video news service, Ceva TV through the intranet platform, Galaxy. The service is seen by all of Ceva’s personnel in over 40 offices throughout the globe. Content can be uploaded direct to Galaxy from the events itself and the intranet news feed has become a key part of Ceva’s global communication strategy.

Ceva has a number of new products coming to the market in the zones and is also building a new production facility at its Ceva Biomune campus in Lenexa, close to Kansas City.

The Ceva Awards were also staged as part of the event and many of the most motivated and successful members of the Ceva team, past and present, were recognised in the awards.

Over 800 people from every sector in the regional property industry attended the Awards which is the highlight of the property calendar in Yorkshire

We were commissioned to produce all the video content for this year’s ceremony and Variety really pushed the   boundaries by using no less than six individual videos to illustrate the fantastic work carried out by the property industry in Yorkshire over the last 12 months and looking ahead to the future as the in-out debate over Europe rages on.

Our thanks go to Charlotte Farrington, Variety’s energetic Yorkshire Regional Development Manager and Duncan Syers of Town Centre Securities who has served on the Yorkshire Committee of  Variety for many years, for their trust in our work. The project was produced against very tight deadlines and involved filming at many of the prestigious projects featured in the Awards, which was staged at Harrogate’s Rudding Park.

Made in Sheffield – another success

The Made in Sheffield 2016 awards were another triumph for our video making skills against tight deadlines.

We were commissioned to make the video that would launch the Awards on the night of the prestigious event that celebrated the best of modern manufacturing and design in the Sheffield City Region. This year the theme for the Awards was skills.

Made In Sheffield is one of the worlds great brands, made famous internationally as a marMade in Sheffield Mail Chimpk of origin and quality on the citys manufactured products.

Today, Sheffield is a successful 21st century producer city, boasting world-class companies in sectors as diverse as advanced manufacturing, materials technology, the creative and digital industries, food and biomedical / healthcare technology.

For our video, we interviewed business leaders from the companies that featured in last year’s awards who spoke about the benefits that the recognition brought them. We also spoke to sponsors and judges of the 2016 Awards, including school pupils who are planning to take up an engineering career. They spoke about their reasons for choosing engineering and included students who are planning to train as accountants, marketers as well as technical employees.

It’s the third year that Good Call Media has been chosen as the official provider for the Awards.

Our Videos Hit The Social Media Agenda

Our involvement in a major ‘summit’ in Barcelona saw widespread coverage of our video material on social media outlets including Facebook, Linked In, Twitter and, of course You Tube.

See the video clip announcing the social media outlets by clicking here.

We also provided the live hosting for the final day of the third Ceva poultry Vaccinology Summit at the prestigious W Hotel on Barcelona’s waterfront, before an audience of 400 vets, customers and key opinion leaders. Within minutes of the event starting, Ceva’s communications team was Tweeting JPEGs and text and our video interviews with several world leading experts that we created on the spot with our lightweight mobile edit equipment, quickly began appearing on the social media networks.

Ceva’s social media team are now used to regularly embedding videos into the Ceva Facebook site itself while also uploading to the overview You Tube channel. Using our background in business broadcast journalism we are able to record videos, edit within minutes and also write supporting text and make the whole thing live while the event is continuing in the background.

Later in the convention we were able to add another dimension when we provided the facilitator for a major live debate involving six of the key opinion leaders and Ceva personnel on the stage at the summit which involved many questions from the capacity audience.

The Summit was called against the backdrop of the fact that for over eighty years antibiotics have protected both the health of animals and humans. Protecting their future, through more targeted use has become one of the most pressing issues for Governments, Health Authorities, veterinarians and poultry producers. “Antibiotic free” poultry production brings with it many challenges and potential welfare issues. As consumers demand healthier food, can this be delivered, whilst ensuring that birds that fall sick are properly treated?

Poultry producers currently face many challenges to adjust their production systems. One of the most critical of the required changes is achieving better management of individual bird and flock health status. Since the emergence of the first very virulent respiratory diseases in poultry in the late 1950’s, the global industry has fought a constant battle to protect flocks against disease through biosecurity and vaccination programmes.

Vaccination was considered to be effective if it prevented or reduced clinical symptoms in affected flocks.  However, widespread use of new     technology vaccines such as Transmune™, Vectormune ND™ and Vectormune AI™, which are associated with improved hatchery application, provide more than just disease protection, by reducing disease occurrence and therefore the probability that birds will fall sick.

Dr Sylvain Comte said: “On farm trials and associated work from scientists and poultry producers has shown that consistent, correct application of new technology vaccines allows producers to both control and reduce disease burden for both present and future flocks. This reduces the risk of clinical or subclinical sickness and therefore the likelihood that birds will need to be treated with antibiotics.”

Ceva’s commitment to responsible antibiotic use is evidenced in programmes that focus on protection as well as reduction of disease spreading. Dr Sylvain Comte continues, “This innovative approach aims to ensure that poultry farms are healthier and less exposed to bacterial infections, fulfilling the joint needs of the consumer and the poultry producers. Ceva will continue to contribute to improved bird health status and help the industry to face the new challenges of antibiotic free production.”

EU – Farming, In or Out?

The EU debate that we hosted and filmed at Agri Expo 2016 in Kent on behalf of land and property experts BTF Partnership, was a prime example of how Good Call Media really differentiates itself from its competitors.

See the video of the event by clicking here.

We were brought in by Coast Communications a leading UK public relations consultancy, acting on behalf of BTF, and asked to run a debate in the Kent County Showgrounds, during the Agri Expo event which asked the question: ‘Will farmers and landowners be better off in or out of the EU?’. Coast Communications also wanted the event filming for use on BTF’s website and social media outlets.

Our own Nik Wood went on stage to host the event and act as Master of Ceremonies and, although we expected a great deal of interest, even we weren’t prepared for the number of people who packed into the auditorium where there was standing room only.

Within minutes of the event ending, we had edited video highlights from the debate and this was made available for use on the BTF website and to other participants – a perfect case study of our ability to make live events really work and capture high quality video as part of the project.
