We Bust Records Again In 2019
2019 is going to be another record breaker for Good Call Media.
Despite the uncertainty brought on by Brexit, we have expanded our client base and our international work this year, which is already the most successful in our 12 year history!
Apologies for our lack of news stories recently, it’s been due to the severe workloads that we have faced in the Autumn period – we are not complaining, we love being busy and winning new clients but we also love working with our long standing clients, many of whom have become personal friends.
Our work with one new (to us) business, the innovative and family-owned super berry company the Hall Hunter Partnership (HHP) has blossomed (excuse the pun), thanks to the success of a series of videos that we have produced for HHP including a brand new overview video that is going ‘live’ very soon; recruitment videos in different languages and video reports highlighting the company’s fantastic work in the community, especially HHP’s hugely popular Open Farm Sunday.
HHP grow and sell strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries for some of the UK’s leading brands including Waitrose and Sainsbury’s so it’s great to be associated with them.
We have continued to develop our long standing relationship with the Insider Group (see previous news story on the Props Awards). This work has included videos for the Made in the UK, Made in the Midlands and Made in Sheffield awards, which highlight the very best of manufacturing in the UK…we love making films about such positive subjects and inspirational people in business.
We have also landed new work with an amazing project in Sheffield – the AWRC or the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre which has just been completed.
Following a £14m investment from the UK’s Department of Health and Social Care and the European Regional Development Fund, the AWRC provides world class research and design capability through state-of-the-art, fully instrumented indoor and outdoor laboratories and access to academic expertise across health, engineering, robotics, software design, psychology, design, and the arts and we are going to be working with them on highlighting their groundbreaking work.
Our international profile has also grown beyond our wildest dreams. In the past this has largely been connected with work carried out in 55 different countries for the worldwide veterinary health company, Ceva Santé Animale, but in 2019 we also crossed borders for other clients including the fast growing cancer detection company Volition RX which is quoted on the New York Stock Exchange.
For Ceva, we will be hosting and filming for the 2020 Global Welfare Awards, which they support with the World Veterinary Association. This means embarking on an intense period of international travel as we make films in five different continents, highlighting the work of the Awards winners. The Awards themselves are being staged in Auckland, New Zealand in April 2020 and our own Nik Wood hosts the event on stage. This year it will be included in the opening ceremony for the Convention and the audience is expected to be over one thousand strong.
And it’s just been announced that we have also won the contract to film for Ceva’s prestigious UK Welfare Awards in 2020, which is a hugely popular event staged in the Midlands of the UK featuring a series of wonderful stories of individuals and groups who go above and beyond when it comes to supporting animal health in the UK and internationally.
So thanks to you all for a brilliant 2019 and we look forward to 2020.
